I got the sense that this book, although about Poppy's plans for post-high school, was really at the level of like a middle schooler trying to choose high school plans. All in all it was an okay read and kept me interested, but not something that will stick with me, or that I would highly recommend to a friend. That being said, it misses its sought after possible greatness as a series, and the ability to lull the reader into that all important reading nirvana simply because it could use editing.
